Pink Season is the second studio album past Japanese entertainer and musician George Miller, nether the name Pink Guy. It was released on 4 January 2017.[1] It features 35 songs ranging from various points in his YouTube career and is primarily produced by Miller himself. It peaked at number 70 on the Billboard 200.[two]

Groundwork and release [edit]

George "Joji" Miller, the creator and role player of Filthy Frank, has always loved to create music as he elaborates in an interview with Pigeons and Planes.[three]

In 2011, Miller created a aqueduct centered effectually his persona "Filthy Frank" to promote his music. Every bit his aqueduct grew, he created more baroque characters, the almost notable of which being Pinkish Guy, an aptly named character consisting of Miller in a pink body arrange. Periodically, Miller would upload music videos to his channel which were as various in musical design and visuals, ranging from Pink Guy making rice assurance to his adoration of hentai.

A remix EP titled Pink Flavor: The Prophecy was released on 24 May 2017, featuring remixes by Borgore, Getter, Tasty Treat and Axel Male child.[7]

A tertiary album PG3 was planned to exist the follow-up to Pink Season and a send-off for Pink Guy but Miller quit the Pinkish Guy name before long later this.

Notes

  • On Filthy Frank'south YouTube upload of the album, "Some other Earth" was originally subtitled "Young Thug Diss".[13]
  • For the tracks "Paw on My Gat", "I Practice It for My Hood" and "I Take a Gun", Miller uses the pseudonym PolitikZ,[14] an clandestine internet rapper character on the Filthy Frank Show.[xv]
  • After the anthology's initial release, the third track, "White Is Right", was removed from the iTunes Store, Google Play and Spotify. The original video for the vocal on YouTube has besides been unlisted.[xvi] [17] [18] [19] No official reason has been given for this removal, though it can exist causeless it was due to the vocal'due south lyrical content.
  • A year after the album'southward release, in early Jan 2018, the track "Dog Festival Directions" was removed from the iTunes Store, Google Play, Spotify and YouTube.[xx] [xvi] [17] [eighteen] No official reason has been given for this removal; however, this came after Miller announced retiring from comedy to pursue his music career.[21]
